i kicked ass

we went bowling.

i kicked ass!

both by winning one of the games but by complaining so much that not only did we get six vouchers for a free game but then more stuff happened and i demanded a refund

first we get there and nobody bothered to tell me that when T rang to see if they had access they'd meant they had one moveable ramp to get up to the lanes but they only had one and someone else was using it and it took like 20 minutes to find that out!!! so T can't get me up a step in my chair so i had to transfer to a seat, she had to bump the chair up then i had to transfer back.

so we played one game and rach won

then, i wanted the loo before the next one they said we'll bring you the key

then they said oh no we've lost it

i go in the ladies use the loo then tell the grovelling bowling alleycat (or whatever crappy name they call them) i want to speak to the manager again

we go play bowling again and ten mins later this alleycat guy comes and says you can use the loo again - yeah i've already been in the ladies i want a refund and to speak to the manager!

they turn the lights off, put some disco lights on and turn the volume on the tunes UP!!!

we have a little dance as we're bowling and i'm sure people are looking at us weird but what the hell i'm weird anyway because i'm disabled

the manager comes "i'm really sorry i'll refund your money" i tell him my evenings been ruined and he says he's angry it all happened

i win the bowling and we go for food!

the manager gives us our money back and me and tracy go play air hockey and she wins

tracy was funny tho when we were complaining - she was good at complaining and supportive too which was good. when the manager never came she went to the reception place and nobody noticed her so she was like "excuse me i've been waiting for a while to see the manager, i've also been standing here for ages, no-ones been paying any attention and if i stand here any longer i'm going to explode! i want to see the manager!"

we get a taxi home and city cabs actually send a car for once - they sent a minibus to pick us up to take us there but luckily the nice driver picked me up and lifted me into it.

other exciting things that i did today was spending two hours in the library then going to odyssey coz i was gasping for a drink and drinking a pint of coke - the excitment!!
